Legacy Scheduling (original schedule platform NOT “New Scheduling”)

Overview: Scheduling Navigation (New & Established)

Audience: Front Office Support

             

   To Schedule:

            1.       Select “scheduling” from patient task bar in Quickview > “Schedule Appointment”

                  
                  

            2.       Select the appropriate provider 1st and then appointment type to filter available appointments specific to that provider specialty.

·         Department can be changed to see other department availability.

·         “from” and “to” can be changed to filter any appointments outside of the designated time frames.


                  


·         The color coding of the calendar indicates availability:

            White: No appointment slots

            Green: Available appointment slots

            Yellow: No slots that fit appointment type

            Red: Fully booked - no slots available

                                

                     

    

            3.       On the calendar click the date and then scroll and select the start of the appointment time.

·         All slots associated with the appointment type selected in step 2 will be automatically selected to block full duration of the appointment.

            4.       Scroll down to booking details and confirm:

a.    Primary & Secondary Insurance

b.    Note/Reason for visits (REQUIRED FOR INITIAL APPOINTMENT)

c.    Authorization if needed for appointment type.

            5.       Select “Schedule appointment”.
