Legacy Cancel/Reschedule (original schedule platform NOT “New Scheduling”)

Overview: Cancel and Reschedule Navigation

Audience: Front Office Support

**NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE APPROPRIATE WORFKLOW FOR A LATE CANCEL OR LATE RESCHEDULE APPOINTMENT PLEASE REFER TO DESIGNATED JOB AID FOR FURTHER CLARIFICATION**


FROM APPOINTMENT ON DAILY SCHEDULE:

            1.     Select patient from appointment schedule.

            2.    At the bottom of the Appointment page select “Cancel” or “Reschedule”


          

                  3.     Select the Appropriate reason for Cancel/Reschedule from required “Reason for Cancellation.”

                  4.     Select “Cancel” or “Reschedule” based on patient request.

                  5.     If cancelling there are no more further steps.

                  6.     If rescheduling – schedule the new appointment appropriately. Refer to “Legacy Scheduling” job aid for reference.

   

                    

FROM QUICKVIEW:

            1.     In patient quickview select “Scheduling” > “View Patient Appointments”


                  

                  

            2.     Locate the appropriate appointment > Select “Cancel” or “Reschedule” based on patients request.

       
    

            3.     Follow steps 3-6 located above - under FROM APPOINTMENT ON DAILY SCHEDULE”.
