Internal Scheduling Workflow
Please reference this workflow when scheduling a patient that is being referred to another provider within Geode Health.
- To schedule the patient, navigate to the Ops Booking Tool: https://ops.geodehealth.com/portal-admin.
- Enter the type of care listed in the referral (Talk Therapy or Psychiatry), patient's zip code, insurance, and DOB to find the best provider match for the patient.
- Apply additional filters to find the best provider match based on conditions and treatments used.
- Select the next available appointment that works for the patient. The blue hyperlinks show the next available appointment. Select see more times if needed.
- Fill out the patient's name, email, and phone exactly as listed in athena. This will prevent a duplicate patient booking in athena.
- Check the "This is an internal referral" checkbox. This will allow you to enter the referring provider's name and any pertinent notes.
- When completed, select "Book my Session".
- The patient will be booked in athena at the time selected in the tool. The office staff at the location that the patient is scheduled will receive a patient case as a notification.
