Internal Scheduling Workflow

Please reference this workflow when scheduling a patient that is being referred to another provider within Geode Health.

  1. To schedule the patient, navigate to the Ops Booking Tool: https://ops.geodehealth.com/portal-admin.

  2. Enter the type of care listed in the referral (Talk Therapy or Psychiatry), patient's zip code, insurance, and DOB to find the best provider match for the patient.



  3. Apply additional filters to find the best provider match based on conditions and treatments used.


  4. Select the next available appointment that works for the patient. The blue hyperlinks show the next available appointment. Select see more times if needed.


  5. Fill out the patient's name, email, and phone exactly as listed in athena. This will prevent a duplicate patient booking in athena.
                            

  6. Check the "This is an internal referral" checkbox. This will allow you to enter the referring provider's name and any pertinent notes.

  7. When completed, select "Book my Session".
                           

  8. The patient will be booked in athena at the time selected in the tool. The office staff at the location that the patient is scheduled will receive a patient case as a notification.
