Beta Cancel/Reschedule

Overview: How to cancel and reschedule non-late appointment change requests.

Audience: Front Office Support

**NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE APPROPRIATE WORFKLOW FOR A LATE CANCEL OR LATE RESCHEDULE APPOINTMENT PLEASE REFER TO DESIGNATED JOB AID FOR FURTHER CLARIFICATION**


FROM APPOINTMENT ON DAILY SCHEDULE:

            1.     Select patient from appointment schedule on the AthenaOne homepage.

            2.     At the bottom of the Appointment page select “Cancel Appointment” or “Reschedule Appointment”

          
          

A.   Selecting “Cancel Appointment”:

1.   Select the appropriate “Reason” for cancel > click “Review”.

2.  Scroll and click “Confirm Cancellation.


          

B.   Selecting “Reschedule Appointment”:

1.   On left-hand side scroll to “Appointment Details” > Click the  icon next to “Date” > Select desired date of reschedule.

2.   To the left-hand side select the desired start time of new appointment and click “Use This Slot”

               
            

3.   Click on “Review” to the bottom left.

4.   Select the appropriate reason for rescheduling from drop down > click “Next: Review”.

5.   Click “Confirm Updates”.



FROM QUICKVIEW:

            1.     In patient quickview select “Scheduling” > “View Patient Appointments”

            2.     Locate the appropriate appointment > To the far right of appointment select “Cancel” or “Reschedule” based on the patients request.

            3.     Continue with the steps listed above – under fields A or B based on the type of the requested schedule change.
