Tova Documentation

Tova documentation will require both Clinical Staff and Provider. Clinical staff will document the ADHD Testing (EP) for reason for visit and will complete the History of Present Illness. Clinical staff will also add TOVA results as a document which will be tied to the current TOVA encounter. Providers will review the results in the encounter and complete the Assessment & Plan and Discussion notes. 

CLINICAL STAFF
1.)      In the Exam, Click (Reason for Visit) and type ADHD Testing
            
2.)      Complete the The HPI
            
3.)       Once you have completed the TOVA testing with the patient you will need to add the observation sheet as well as the TOVA results to tied to the current TOVA encounter. 
                             
                 Adding Document TOVA Results to TOVA Encounter
1.)      Click on the Patient Action Menu (Hamburger) while you are in the encounter and then select Add Document. 
                                                                        
2.)     When adding the document, please select Encounter Document - Procedure Documentation for the Document  Class.
            
3.)      Link the document to the current Tova appointment so it can be tied to the Encounter
            
4.)      Once you have uploaded the document, please leave the document in Data Entry to the rendering provider.
            

PROVIDERS
   1.) Providers will access the open encounter from their inbox and will be able to review the results in the exam under PROCEDURE DOCUMENTATION. 
            
2.) Providers will complete the Assessment & Plan & Discussion Notes.
      
            

3.)      Once all of the documentation have been completed, the Provider will update the status of the patient to "Ready For Check-Out".
            a.) Click on Sign-Off Page
                  
              b.) Click on the drop-down arrow next to "Done" and select Ready for Check Out.
                   

5.)       Providers will review the documentation and then close the encounter. Patients will need to be scheduled for a follow up appointment with the rendering provider to discuss results of TOVA test.
