Saving Credit Card On File (Outside of Appt)
Overview: How to save a card outside of check in | Audience: Front Office Support |
Saving Cof outside of appointment:
1.) Starting in the patient Quickview scroll to the Insurances section.
2.) Select “Save a new card to file”
3.) Enter the patients card information and billing address.
4.) Under the “Collect cardholder signature” section select “Generate digital consent link” via text.
Note: This page will then close. Stay on the line with the patient and request that they inform you when the agreement has been signed. Once the agreement has been signed refresh the screen and the card will reflect at the top of the patient quickview next to “card on file” under the “outstanding balances” section.
What if patient is not receiving the text:
1.) Confirm the number on file is the number they’re using.
Resend the link using the “Resend Digital Consent Link” Under the insurance section “card on file agreement”
