Please reference this workflow below when a patient is being referred within Geode Health for a service.
When a provider creates an internal referral, it will be routed to the Front Office staff bucket of the Clinical Inbox.
1. In the Clinical Inbox, click on
the Orders/Rxs/Auths bucket to find any Internal Referral routed to the Front
Office.
2. Click the on the referral order from the Orders/Rxs/Auths bucket of the clinical inbox.
a. If there is no referred provier listed, in the “internal note” section:
i. Front Office is to follow
normal workflow when there is not information listed and to match and schedule
the patient with the first available Therapist/Provider
4. Indicate that the referral is scheduled by clicking “View Actions”
a. Select “Order Submitted
Documentation Only” and click Save.
