Create Standing Order/Future Order outside an Encounter/


Create Standing Order outside an Encounter


1.)   In the patient’s chart, click on the Hamburger and select the Patient Action Menu (Hamburger)

             
2.)    Click on Diagnoses & Orders
      
            

3.) Add your diagnoses and orders
4.) Once added select click on "Standing order" till you see the checkbox is selected. Once the checkbox is selected, please document the required fields. 
            
5.) Once you add the receiver, sign the order. 
            

Creating Future Order Outside of an Encounter

1.)   In the patient’s chart, click on the Hamburger and select the Patient Action Menu (Hamburger)
      
2.)    Click on Diagnoses & Orders
      
3.) Add your diagnoses and orders
4.) Once added select click on the Calendar then select a future date that you would like this order to be processed.
      

  5.) Once you add the receiver (If needed), sign the order.
